Welcome to Antiquarian’s Attic, if anyone deigns to visit, and apparently that is one of the purposes of a weblog, to attract readers (and clients, if it’s a professional’s blog). I’ve been having a look on the Internet to understand what weblogs are all about and if one is of benefit for me, but I’m none the wiser. There seems to be as many different weblogs as there are people writing them and an infinite variety of opinions as to what they should be. Certain blogs are much like confessional journals, others are like newspapers, some are scrapbooks, others like research papers, and some are like recipe books. Stuart Brown has devised The Blogging Spectrum of the different types of blogs around. My blog may become a veritable rainbow of erudite topics, or a muddy brown muddle, but here goes….
